I think most developers have hundreds of launch configs, so when adding these to a chain become difficult because you can't filter this list. So my suggestion would be to add a simple "filter" input field in that window so that the developer can easily filter for the config he/she is looking for. See attachment.

The Launching ticket I had before doesn't make sense - this ticket being tagged as Launching and I think will work fine.
