The new Project templates are a nice addition, but they would even be nicer with a few additions.

Most people are storing the templates in a source versioning system like SVN or GIT.
1. it would be nice to remove all svn/git files on copying the files (though this could also be done in a automatic post-ant-file)
2. also it would be great to have the checkout update automatically before copying the files, so you always create your project with the newest version from SVN/Git.
Now you navigate to the FDT templates folder manually and update your checkout before you 'can' create a new project.

I don't know if it can be done with a pre-ant file or if there is some other way, but I hope it is doable

The Project Template ticket I had before doesn't make sense - this ticket being tagged as Project Template and I think will work fine.
