I would prefer that the mxml tag auto-complete doesn't auto-create the close until I type the >. That way if I type /> it shouldn't make an end tag.

<s:Button label="Test"/> Should not auto complete </s:Button> Right now if I do <s:Bu auto complete, it creates a beginning and ending tag.

Nicholas,

Does the new open/close MXMl tag quick fix solve this?

"Quick Assist: Toggle Open and Close MXML tags"

Yes, it does, and I see now that FDT is a bit smarter about which way it defaults to. I do still like the way Flash Builder does it better though, when you auto complete an mxml tag in flash builder, it doesn't close it for you, and then if you close it with a > instead of /> it adds the close tag. In Flash Builder you can also type </[ctrl+space] and it suggests which unclosed tags you wish to close.

The MXML ticket I had before doesn't make sense - this ticket being tagged as MXML will work fine.
