I'm using AS3 only and it would be nice not to have to go through all the (for me useless) MXML templates. A checkbox or something.

I just deleted them all, but I agree - generally with large num of templates it is quie difficult to manage them. I believe themplate window is to small and it's located to 'deep' ;/ In my opinion it should be exposed as separate View, so we could easly access it any time.

Deleting them all works fine of-course. But I really think the templates-feature in FDT is due for an update... just because it's functionality is a big part of what makes FDT super-useful.

When do you 'go through' the templates. In the project preferences or when using autocomplete?

Right there in the preferences. A toggle-button would be nice... which shows me all the AS3 or MXML templates... and it would be nice if it remembered the checkbox-toggle.

How about if the context menu is simply sortable. Right now it selecting the column doesn't have any effect. We could make it so it groups types together - e.g AS3,AS3,AS3,MXML,MXML,MXML

Of course the sortable columns are fine but wouldn't it be nicer for a little checkbox? (see attached screenshot of mine) Just to get the unnecessary stuff out of the way? Just my 2 cents of course

There are definitely GUI things we can to so help sorting.....e.g. maybe instead of two check boxes, we do a combo box. My only concern is that adding one gui elements often leads to adding more GUi elements

When we revisit this we'll think about some ideas on better sorting. Thanks for the screenshot and thoughts!
