Hi Colin,
thanks for your report! You can avoid this issue by using an external Browser instead of the internal one. The internal browser is part of FDT therefor FDT attempt to suspend itself once you hit a breakpoint or an excaption get caught so it technically debugs it self which results in this issue. As a solution for that issue we may should consider preventing the use of the internal browser for debugging purposes and make the external browser default. You can change this setting here Preferences > General > Web Browser > 'Use external web browser' please see the attached screenshots on how to properly setup different browsers on mac os x regards, Philipp

Hi Colin Joy,
due to the restriction of the eclipse SWT UI being single threaded. In more detail: I will close this issue now and we won't fix it until the limititations of the flash player or SWT UI has been resolved. Regards
